1 comment:

  1. Congress enacted the National Labor Relations Act ("NLRA") in 1935 to protect the rights
of employees and employers, to encourage collective bargaining, and to curtail certain
private sector labor and management practices, which can harm the general welfare of
workers, businesses and the U.S. economy.

Sec. 7. [§ 157.] Employees shall have the right to self-organization, to form, join, or assist
labor organizations, to bargain collectively through representatives of their own choosing,
and to engage in other concerted activities for the purpose of collective bargaining..."

Did we choose these representatives, answer NO.

I would ask that if you would like to leave a comment that you think of Local 157 Blogspot as your online meeting hall and that you wouldn’t say anything on this site that you wouldn’t, say at a union meeting. Constructive criticism is welcome, as we all benefit from such advice. Obnoxious comments are not welcome.
