On February 12, 2013 we reported that Review Office Dennis Walsh vetoed Joseph Passero as President of Local 1556. Below is a letter from Passero to Judge Berman requesting judicial review of the veto.

I would ask that if you would like to leave a comment that you think of Local 157 Blogspot as your online meeting hall and that you wouldn’t say anything on this site that you wouldn’t, say at a union meeting. Constructive criticism is welcome, as we all benefit from such advice. Obnoxious comments are not welcome.

I read a letter from Passero to Walsh, indicating he will not seek to appeal the decision, but rather this was a request to meet w/the RO for one last opportunity to be heard, and possibly have the veto action ceased. Guess it didn't look too good on paper, as does this.
