The time clock below indicates elapsed time of the "emergency supervision" over the District Council.
It has been well documented at the UBC Hearings, both Pete Thomassen (salary $268,827) and Dennis Sheil,(salary $253,500) among other things, turned a blind eye to contractor corruption and failed to protect our financial interest, yet these two men remain in positions of power. Why?
When will UBC leadership fire those who have betrayed us?
SEND A MESSAGE TO MR. FRANK SPENCER
Tired of hearing about Lies and Corruption? Then do something about it! We need to make our voices heard to avoid catastrophic consequences to our union. There’s only one way we can achieve that: we need to turn the political heat way up ― ― and send a LOUD and CLEAR message to Mr. Frank Spencer who has assumed supervision over our District Council.
I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!

I am writing to you in response to your letter to the membership dated August 25, 2009. You wrote, as supervisor of the “emergency supervision” your “first and only concern is the membership”, and you have “every confidence in the members of the district council."

Pictured right, a smirking Peter Thomassen along with Dennis Sheil, is what's left of disgraced Mike Fordes "Unity Team."
Brothers and Sisters, Our union is being destroyed by our so-called leaders. We are intentionally being kept in the dark. I set up a dedicated page for members to voice their opinions, so use it!

I made up flyers so you can print and post them on your job sites (off hours). Please feel free to share these flyers with others. Post them on community bulletin boards, take them to rallies or picket lines, leave them in stores, bars, restrooms, subways... anywhere where union brothers and sisters will see them.
