  2. Really??!! Just like past, vetoed President Nee's guidance moving of the Local 157 Office, for which many of these candidates were dismissed for, this is yet another clear example why this "Real" Members Voice slate will do anything to undermine the hard working members of our union or any union in this case. Even the Irish members are embarrassed by their actions and when behind the closed voting curtain will vote for the "Original" Members Voice Team to protect their future, if they are smart. Corrigan's are corrupt and are only out for Corrigan's, as you can see with their actions with the current fraud, even in an election. Let's hope they didn't leave our Local open to a large law suit. It's a good thing we have someone like Mitch Sonntag protecting our interests and he passed this debacle onto the lawyers to protect our interests. They are morally bankrupt and have no honor.

  3. I was going to vote for these guys but not after something dispicable like this behavior! Imagine if they got elected and tried some crap like moving the Local 157 office Nee Veto mess or this, McCarron would be on the next plane to NYC. Once again, I am an embarrassed old 608 member, this has to stop!

  5. I'm sorry but I personally know some of the people on that slate and to dename the whole slate is not right...maybe it wasn't right in a new union member but the people on that slate I know wouldn't have had any part...you shouldn't slander peoples name!

  6. I have copies of All the materials from the 3 slates. School last week. They all look very different. How can one side say that their stuff is using labels from another ? The labels are different. Just saying. This smells of political smearing. . Remember if the glove dont fit you must acquit.

  10. Letter Alleges . Now this site is tabloid journalism. Next thing will be a little boy running in and saying the sky is falling.
Also, didn't the RMV use a printer ? It looks that way by the quality of the paper and print. Two different print shops. I don't see the issue. Probably just politics.

    1. To Those Who Stole The Bug:

You know who you are. We know who you are. Counterfeiting is a crime. Counterfeiting another trades mark is a crime. What the Hell were you guys thinking? You think that just because we wear hard hats, that we are clueless? You insult the Brothers and Sisters of Local 157. The "Real" Members Voice are a disgrace.

  11. “With all due respect Mr. Walsh the fact is we are so desperate to print literature for a slate containing previously vetoed personel. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided to, in combination, to cost the local members and the DC and the federal government hundreds of thousands of dollars whereas subsequent involvement by the ig, (who actually wastes money by not probing deep enough, yeah for us ) and all remaining cadres which will be involved in order to get to the bottom of this, " What difference at this point does it make?” westie Corrigan said. “It is our job to figure out what happened and just keep mucking it up & do everything to perpetuate the imbicilism you have come to expect from local 157 politics.

I would ask that if you would like to leave a comment that you think of Local 157 Blogspot as your online meeting hall and that you wouldn’t say anything on this site that you wouldn’t, say at a union meeting. Constructive criticism is welcome, as we all benefit from such advice. Obnoxious comments are not welcome.
