  4. full mobility goes in, say hello to the UBC's International Traveling Rat Program where you are no. 9,643 on the pretend out of work list, where your DC Officers ignore your contract, working through lunch & picking up tools on your time is the norm & half the crew are bums the contractor picked up on the overnight drive to your DC. The only asshole on the job will be the so called steward (someone who will sellout his own mother, never mind a so called fellow union brother).

They will work like raped apes & compete with each other to sit in the bosses lap at lunch. There will be no water on the job, crap for tools & of course all the company schmucks will be properly set up. Included with these bums will be the Hall Brown-Nosers who bring their own cordless tools, lasers & power tools and who simply ignore the fact that the contractor is to provide these things.

You guys have been warned & it is happening in the other 49-1/2 states right now. Half of these UBC International Agreement companies will skip out on your Benefit Stamps and your so called fearless Local Union appointed Business Agents won't do a damn thing about it, nor will the Fund Attorneys and you will be left chasing the out of state companies to pay up the Workers Comp, Unemployment Insurance, Benefit contributions & wages etc.

Have fun & make sure to bring the boss a nice shiny apple

  7. First Walsh says there is no documentation that either he or the UBC could find that authorizes the Shiel Deal. Then the last night he miraculaoulsy did have such authority. We smell a federal stink bomb having been ignited. A seasoned team of investigators combes the DC comes up with nada, then 13.999 Mil. walks out the door.

I would ask that if you would like to leave a comment that you think of Local 157 Blogspot as your online meeting hall and that you wouldn’t say anything on this site that you wouldn’t, say at a union meeting. Constructive criticism is welcome, as we all benefit from such advice. Obnoxious comments are not welcome.
