I would ask that if you would like to leave a comment that you think of Local 157 Blogspot as your online meeting hall and that you wouldn’t say anything on this site that you wouldn’t, say at a union meeting. Constructive criticism is welcome, as we all benefit from such advice. Obnoxious comments are not welcome.

Allow me to be the first---------------2,3,4,500 more hours per year. And at the first sign you have to report a company or a Union officer or representative, see how many hrs. you'll get then !
ReplyDeleteFRANK WAS ANY ONE WILLING TO TAKE A PAY CUT AT THE DISTRICT COUNCIL LEVEL?
ReplyDeleteSo bluntly was this question put before him Thurs past you could see his upper lip dissapear.
ReplyDeleteHey Frank, did you take a pay cut????
ReplyDeleteI was initially sceptical of Frankl Spencer's pitch justifying our pay freeze. But then he said "damn" and hell" expressing his frustration in a language all of us pissed off Carpenters can understand. I know now that Mr. Spencer must be genuine, true to the construction worker stereotype: swearing and cursing for lack of anything intelligent to say. Isn't that right Mr. Spencer? Dumb down and keep positive! : )
