Joe Passero's intentions were good. Recovery of possible missing assets (2%) that belonged to the members. Now that Joe is gone, will the new president pursue the matter or will he turn a blind eye like past admistrations?
Why did Joe feel it necessary to by-pass board approval? Were they intentionally trying to stall Joe in his attempts? If so, why? Was Joe duped by this James fellow into turning over sensitive info? Did Joe know that this James fellow had a conviction?
Many questions left unanswered. One thing is for sure, whatever Joe did he had good intentions. Even the RO says that in his statement.
"failing to take necessary precautions to safeguard such information" Under what state or federal law does any Union or Organization have a duty to safeguard this inforamtion
"Joe Passaros intentions may have been good, but in the end he was left with NOTHING" But at least he left with his dignity. Never did he try to sell out his brothers and sisters or trade. Never did he ever put his name on anything with those who not only now have "nothing" but will be forever known as those who tried to sell out their brothers and sisters"Wink,Wink"
At least your still a liar and a punk and cant come up with any new BS stories to tell and keep repeating the same lies over and over. But thats not surprising considering you have the IQ of a beer bottle.. Wink Wink
I am sure he did not leave with cells or computers because just like us there were no cell phones or computers. We had two used garage sale office phones and two Dell slim body antique computers that nobody but a moron like you would steal..These were in the office when Spanky changed the locks..That makes you a lying bag on s...on all counts.. Now I am sure after the cell phones, Cadillac lease and steak dinners that Local 1556 and Passero has no computers or cell phones to take because their not allowed. Since his name is not on any of the Bahamas hotel and dinner receipts and he was trying to recover money for the members I would trust him with my wallet.
Passero gave Members' personal info to a third party guilty of embezzlement, without obtaining approval from the Executive Board, or 1556 Membership, thus violating his fiduciary duty, and the Stipulation and Order. He was vetoed with good reason, no matter the ignorance plea, nor valid any criticisms for the RO, otherwise.
Dictatorship 'for the good of the people' is a page out of the Marxist-Leninist handbook, and must be treated accordingly-- with contempt.
Whomever-- be it Passero's campaign committee Chairman, personal attaché, or random bystander-- calling for his elevation to status of labor martyr is pathologically authoritarian, against the rank-and-file.
I would ask that if you would like to leave a comment that you think of Local 157 Blogspot as your online meeting hall and that you wouldn’t say anything on this site that you wouldn’t, say at a union meeting. Constructive criticism is welcome, as we all benefit from such advice. Obnoxious comments are not welcome.
Dumb motherfucker deserved it. To the 301 who voted for this assclown-how do you feel now? Looks like your "saviour" fucked you too
ReplyDeleteWhat does that even mean? 'VETOED" What the fuck is that? EXPLAIN IT.
ReplyDeleteRemoved from office, he is no longer the president.

"I recognize -- as Mr. Passero states in his submission -- that his intentions were good"(Review Officer Denis Walsh).

ReplyDeleteOf course you would trust Joe Passaro with your wallet, because your wallet has NOTHING in it.
