We have lost respect of the other trades due to our dropping out of the afl-cio. We don't even attend the recent labor rallies. This is embarrasing. Mccarron and his overpaid minions forget what it is like to wear tools, yet they negotiate OUR pay. Mccarron needs to heed the wishes of the membership, have a national vote on issues like rejoining the afl-cio.
I would ask that if you would like to leave a comment that you think of Local 157 Blogspot as your online meeting hall and that you wouldn’t say anything on this site that you wouldn’t, say at a union meeting. Constructive criticism is welcome, as we all benefit from such advice. Obnoxious comments are not welcome.
