Job Steward Alliance Spring Assembly

Please join us at the next meeting being held at the New York City District Council, 10th floor on April 2, 2014 @ 4:30 - 6:30. If you haven't been to a meeting in a while, this will be a good occasion to catch up and see the good things the JSA is achieving and stay involved in your union.

We are happy to announce that we will be having special guests from the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

Mrs. Tara O’Rourke and other representatives will be joining us in what will prove to be a very informative and educational assembly for all Job Stewards.

Please come down and invite as many Job Stewards as you can to participate in this essential event. This is your union and you are on the frontline's of safeguarding the membership and yourselves. This conference will help one with the tools necessary to be educated and informed of worker and especially Job Stewards rights in the work place.

We also may have a visit from De Walt with some of their new "Made in the USA" tools with special attention given to safety, one of the many Job Stewards responsibilities on the job.

There will be new JSA decals to distribute for all.

I would ask that if you would like to leave a comment that you think of Local 157 Blogspot as your online meeting hall and that you wouldn’t say anything on this site that you wouldn’t, say at a union meeting. Constructive criticism is welcome, as we all benefit from such advice. Obnoxious comments are not welcome.
